How Follow-Gate works
Follow-Gate sends a first message with buttons. When the person taps, ReplyKaro checks through Instagram's API whether they follow you. If not, it asks them to follow and tap "I'm following" before the link is sent. The nudge text is editable.
What Instagram does not allow

How a follow-gated DM unfolds
- Someone comments your keyword.
- The first DM asks them to follow your account and tap a button, for example "I'm following".
- When they tap, ReplyKaro checks the follow status. Instagram only allows that check after the person has interacted, which a button tap counts as.
- If they follow, the link is sent. If not, a short nudge asks them to follow and tap again. The nudge text is yours to edit, in any language.
- You see the result in your analytics, so you can compare gated and ungated posts.

Honest limits of follow-gating
- It cannot check whether every commenter already follows you before they interact.

Keeping it honest
- Say clearly in the Reel and the DM what the person gets.
- Never promise followers a reward you do not deliver.
- Do not hide the link behind several steps. One follow step is enough.
- Remember that a person can unfollow later. Give them a reason to stay, such as regular useful posts.

How to measure whether Follow-Gate is worth it
Run the same offer on two similar posts, one with the gate and one without. Compare how many people received the link and how many new followers you gained over the same days. If the gate costs you many completions and adds few followers, remove it for that offer. If it adds followers without hurting completions, keep it.

ReplyKaro uses Instagram's official API with Instagram login, never asks for your password and sends below Meta's hourly cap. ReplyKaro's business is verified by Meta as a Tech Provider. Do I need an Instagram Professional account?
Yes. Instagram only allows automation tools to message through Business or Creator accounts. Switching is free in Instagram settings.
Is Follow-Gate allowed by Instagram?
Asking people to follow before you send something is a common practice. ReplyKaro does it through Instagram's official API, with the person's own action (a button tap) as the trigger.
Can I turn Follow-Gate off for some posts?
Yes. It is a setting on each automation, so you can use it on lead magnets and leave it off elsewhere.

How do I know the follow check is accurate?
The check reads whether the person follows your account at that moment. If they follow and then unfollow later, the earlier check does not change.
